My RES Turtle isn't eating, HELP!!!?

For a week or so my RES turtle hasnt been eating AT ALL. A few months ago, my turtles basking light broke, and i just baught a new one a few days ago. Is my turtle ill? I never see it eating and ever since it stopped eating its only on land sitting, and never comes into the water.
