Pipes bang when hot water is turned on in bathroom?

i had a similar problem on a bathroom remodel job. if your pipes are attached to framing studs properly, it could be the operating pressure of your new fixture. to repair the problem, i just had to change a pressure compensating valve, very simple. hopefully you still have the box that they came in, that has the model number. there should be a toll free number to call. goodluck
