Girls, Is my bf giving me a green light to smoke cigarettes around him?

I am dating a nonsmoking bf, who never smoked a cigarette in his life..he said he was reluctant to ask me out cuz I smoke cigarettes but now he is glad he did cuz he really likes me and is getting used to being around me...I have tried to not smoke around him, but last night when we were snuggling on the couch, he said if you need a cigarette, I will get you something to use as an ashtray...he got me a soda can...and later said he would have to get some ashtrays for his apartment...so we were snuggling, holding hands, etc....and I smoked about three cigarettes during this time...does this me it is ok with him, and I have the green light to light up when I am with him anytime...I hope so, but, I dont; want to upset him...I really like him a lot...should I just light up and see what happens...maybe he is accepting his girl as a cigarette smoker now...what do you think..how would you handle it...I love him and I love my cigarettes
