Will you comment on the loss of a friendship?

Interesting with the blood reference, which naturally sets up the comparison for 'another' cutter type of poem. I read this as losing a friend but also being somewhat the reason for it, too. Tainted view implies not seeing it coming in a lot of ways to me. End rhyme natural. A good read.
