How can I tell if my video card and motherboard are compatible? (My first DIY)?
A motherboard must feature at least one PCI-E slot (regardless if it's 1.0 or 2.0) for it to support a graphics card. That's the only requirement from the motherboard to support a card. That, and a sufficient-enough power supply to operate the card. Rosewill is a cheap, garbage brand power supply. Stick to quality, reputable brands -- such as Corsair, Antec, SeaSonic, XFX, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, or OCZ. Go with the Corsair TX650w. a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020" rel="nofollow"http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…/a All your other components are compatible and good. Solid build there.
