Can someone please explain this crochet stitch to me?

All you do is work the 1st Single crochet into the chain then you make another in the same chain or place as the first one was placed. Don't yarn over or anything. It's just like doing any other Single Crochet just you reuse the same chain to make another. I hope this helped!
